Quick and Easy Oven Baked Pork Chops

JUMP TO RECIPE

Here is another simple recipe that is perfect for whole30 meal prep (or any other meal prep, of course). These oven baked pork chops are really easy to make. All you need are pork chops and a little bit of seasoning, and the rest is up to the oven.

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like my oven baked pork chops. I like prepping them in a batch during my weekly meal prep. Then I serve them throughout the week with different side dishes and sauces.

When baking your pork chops, they stay tender and soft. Especially if you get them thicker, about 2.5 cm (1”). That way you can be sure they won’t dry out in the oven.

If you’re going to make them in a batch, like I do, and keep them in an airtight container in the fridge, then you’ll have to know how to heat them up before serving. What I like to do is to make some kind of sauce/gravy and add the oven baked pork chops in. I add them while the sauce is still too runny. As soon as the sauce thickens, the pork chops are warm enough for serving.

Now all you need is some simple side dish, like cooked broccoli, mashed potatoes, or cauliflower rice. If you’re looking for some non-whole30 side dish, you can always serve your oven baked pork chops with some fluffy clove and parsley rice and a nice salad.
